FOR SALE: Shunyata Research Venom HC – 6' High-Current Power Cable – US/C15

Another item up for your consideration is my Shunyata Research Venom HC high-current power cable. While it is officially listed as a 6' power cord, the actual length is 5'9". It is terminated with a US AC plug and C15 IEC connector. This is the original Venom HC, which originally retailed for $295 in this length. It was designed by Shunyata specifically for applications where unrestricted current delivery is important.

The Venom HC was designed as a massive 10-AWG high-current power cable and is particularly well suited for high current power amplifiers, integrated amplifiers, and power supplies/conditioners. This original Venom HC V1 uses substantial 10-AWG oxygen-free copper conductors and was developed using Shunyata Research's DTCD (Dynamic Transient Current Delivery) analysis, with the objective of minimizing restrictions to instantaneous current delivery.

The construction of this cable include oxygen-free copper conductors, a high current design, Shunyata DTCD-developed construction, heavy duty molded connectors and Nickel-plated solid-brass contacts

IIRC, I am the second owner of this cable and it came to me with some very light rub marks on the outer jacket that were easily wiped off. After thoroughly inspecting the cable, I did not find any rips, snags, tears or blemishes. It looks as if it came from the factory and functions flawlessly. This comes with the original box (see photos)

The Venom HC has established a strong reputation as one of Shunyata's more affordable high-current power cables and provided an entry point into the company's power-cable technology without the considerably higher cost of its upper-tier models. Here is your chance to upgrade your standard PC with a Shunyata offering!

Polk Audio Club members - This is priced to move at: $140.00*

*If you are not a Club Polk member and you see this on Hi-Fi Shark or other search engine in the coming days, the price will be $160.00 - Shipping and insurance are additional and will be charged at actual cost to the buyer. The item will be shipped as soon as funds clear. I reserve the right to not sell this cable at this price to a non-established Club Polk member or a member not in good standing. CONUS only.

Photos are of the actual cable and packaging. Please feel free to contact me with any questions. Be on the lookout for more cables that I will be offering up for your consideration in the coming weeks.

Molded connectors, like PS Audio used when they made power cords, is the only proper way IMO.

I'm still using a PS Audio xStream Plus that I've had since around 2006. BTW, I'm thinking about this Tom. Will let you know.
