Audio Equipment

Can anyone recommend a reputable business that sells high-quality audio equipment that can be shipped to a buyer? There are none of those businesses near where we live in rural Western Massachusetts. In the past I’ve bought cables from Crutchfield, but I received no reply when I contacted them via email.

You didn't receive a reply from crutchfield? Very hard to believe- Not Tom ::::::: Any system can play Diana Krall. Only the best can play Limp Bizkit.

Very odd post as each and every audio retail business can and will ship whatever audio equipment they sell to you.Political Correctness'.........defined

Feels like some weird spam to degrade crutchfield.
Crutchfield is always the highest priced, no special deal but customer service?? Industry standard- Not Tom ::::::: Any system can play Diana Krall. Only the best can play Limp Bizkit. -
Email is the least effective way of reaching someone at Crutchfield. They have real people who can be reached by phone or by chat message through their website. Four are currently active for chats. I've always called them on the phone if I have questions but their website is very clearly organized and informative.
Someone would have to dig through their website to find an email address to try and send a message to their customer service ordering section. Their customer service systems aren't really set up for email contacts. -
Thank you for everyone who took the time to respond to my question. I prefer to contact businesses via email instead of the telephone so I can send detailed information about my audio system including photographs of the connections I need. My experience with Crutchfield was just as I stated; I have no interest in badmouthing them. But the fact is they never responded to my email. As a professional composer who has a lot of complex audio equipment in my studio, I've learned the hard way that trying to match up equipment over the phone never works out too well.

If you make a phone call to Crutchfield one of their tech support or sales staff will likely communicate with you directly via email if you ask. I've done that before when I needed to special order something. Crutchfield doesn't have as many arrangements with higher end audio dealers like Music Direct because they are aimed at the mid-level audio/video/car consumer product market.

I'll add Acousticsounds.com to the list of dealers I've found to be reliable in the past. Email as the first point of contact may also not be the most effective.
