On Monday of this week, I was at a traffic light at a multi-lane intersection. To my right, there was a vintage Jaguar XKE at the head of the left-turn broken down with about 8 cars blocked behind it. Two men were standing at the rear of the car and I could smell smoke coming from the engine.

I rolled the window down but stopped myself from asking:

"Don't you have a second Jaguar for a spare?"

This not the actual car but it looks a lot like it.

I true classic and a blast to drive. Enzo Ferrari famously called it "the most beautiful car ever made"

Tom Selleck wouldn't have looked very cool driving that thing.

There's some 'junk' in that bathing suit, but it's not in the trunk. I always think of Battle of the Network Stars when I think of Lynda Carter; I'm pretty sure the male viewership was much higher when she competed.

I agree that the electric Ferrari is probably going to be a flop, but it’s not going to hurt them in the least.

They are still the most exclusive/sought after major brand in the world.

They have flopped before, and will do it again.

But Ferrari is no Jaguar in this scenario.

Not only is that electric Ferrari an ugly **** Ferrari, it’s an ugly car in itself.

United Airlines Flight UA236, a Boeing 767-400ER, departed Newark Liberty International Airport (EWR) at 5:58 PM on Saturday, May 30, 2026, heading for Palma de Mallorca, Spain. However, roughly an hour and a half into the transatlantic journey, a routine flight dissolved into confusion for the passengers on board.

LiveATC.net audio archives from the Newark ramp and company frequencies later confirmed that a passenger (reported to be a 16-year-old boy) had customized the discoverable network name of his personal Bluetooth speaker to read “BOMB”. Because Bluetooth signals broadcast to any nearby smartphones or laptops looking to pair, the name popped up on the screens of passengers and crew members inside the cabin, instantly triggering a standard bomb-threat protocol.

Tom, what's the saying? If you squint, it's mint? I'm not sure if squinting helps any of those.

It is. For handy mice. Draws them in to start fixing it out of disgust, then, when they're good and engaged and distracted when they realize it's also cheese, SNAP! Giant trap wire (not pictured) comes swinging down. I've seen it a million times.

I think that is a function of the car. All lights turn off on that side of the car when the blinker is blinking. The photo was just taken when they ere in the "off" cycle of blinking.

Supposedly, it is to make sure people know 100% when the blinker is used. Safety feature.
