Good morning, I wanted to share with you my experience as an audiophile, Polk Audio TSX 550T speakers costing €1,000 that sound like €9,000 speakers, all original electronics, or just placed fir crosspieces at the base with 10 cm high furniture feet and spikes and bases under them, raised from the ground 12 cm at the front and 15 cm at the back, at the base there is this audio chain, Wiim Ultra, SMSL DO 100 Pro, as a pre-amp Cary SLP90 Chinese clone with Psvane Horizon tubes, and 2 power amps, one is the Olchen EL 34 and the other power amp with KT88, in bi-amping with quality cables, and a Palivens P 20 power strip, wonderful sound. Best regards.lrps82d61yqk.jpg

Thank you very much Tom, I wrote this post because it's the truth, they sound like 9000 euro speakers, to those who persist in saying on the forums that these speakers are polka dots, I would invite them to a listening test at my house so that they will then have to change their minds, I prefer to spend on the audio chain rather than spending on 12000 euro speakers, I get the result on the sound with the audio chain, if you give it the right current the speakers appreciate and respond well, connecting them in bi amping even the crossover benefits and becomes like a crossover that is compared to the more expensive ones so then this purity of sound comes out, in a few days I'm going to listen to my friend's gold note xt-7 with pre and power amp always from gold note he upstream has the eversolo as streamer, but he already told me that he would like to try my pre cary slp 90 to see if I can soften the sound and see if his gold notes respond well, in my opinion my polkadots when Listen to him, they won't look out of place at all. Tom, thank you again so much for the compliment.
    Best regards, Marco

It is apparent that you are from across the big pond from most of us. If you don't mind me asking, what country are you posting from?

It's not very often we get new members from that side of the pond.

Welcome aboard. Indeed the right synergy and application of equipment goes a long way.

If the drivers are built like TSi drivers, then I'd highly suggest damping the stamped steel baskets with butyl mat (Dynamat) at the least.
