Closest I came was stacking a pair of 2.3s on top of a pair of klh 12's. I bearhugged them and lifted them up there alone which would be impossible for me now. That was a project as my ceiling had to jacked ever so slightly to fit that stack in one side. For several years there was a glut of big speakers here and they had to go somewhere. I'll poke around and see if I can come up with a pic which may not happen due to it being pre cellphone days.

    Back to the original question.
Polk Speakers new vs. old-how do they stack up ?
Vertically. I have my Old Polk's (RTA15rdo's)stacked one on top of the other with a T-shirt between them next to my new Polk's made out of old parts. This is my office rig so it isn't set up properly:o

So who has stacked 1.2's before? Come one, post a pic.

I tried it once but had to stack em sideways, didn't sound very swell and have no idea why.
