I would've bought them if they were close to me. I don't know how I would've loaded them or unloaded them BUT those are secondary problems to the action of buying them at such a reduced price! I would've figured something out after I paid for them.
That was a great chance to own Polk's newest flagship speakers.

Correct, Polk never made a SDA SRS 1.2 with a blade/blade interconnect socket and that is the only determining factor that says that they are 1st Gen SRS's, full stop. The blade/blade IC socket is unique to the 1st Gen SRS's. The number of screws on the crossover plate is irrelevant at this point. Note that Polk used the leftover crossover plates for the 1st Gen SRS's and installed them on the 1.2's.SDA SRS 2.3TL's
