Yup, my friend Jack from MA texted me a little while ago.
We saw "Bobby and Phil" at the Wang Theater in Boston not that many years ago.
He (Weir) was the youngster of the bunch.

This had been left behind in the theater by some attendee who had probably just had a little too much fun before and/or during the show...
PS In Boston, March is not spring. We left the Wang that evening and walked out into wet snow. The drive to our friends' house in Marlboro was interesting, even in Jack's AWD Benz.
When we got back to their house, the power was out.

Taken at the ol' Capital Centre in Largo, MD a long time ago.

R.I.P. Mr. WeirMost people just listen to music and watch movies. I EXPERIENCE them.

Nice NPR Tiny Desk Concert with Weir from not that long ago. Finishing up our evening listening to it now.

That Cap Centre show was ca. '79. Last time I saw them was at the B-more Civic Center in IIRC the summer of '80. We had an extra ticket, and we had a little trouble finding someone who'd take it (?!). Ended up taking a friend of mine who was a grad student at JHU and who'd actually been my T/A for the Developmental Biology lab that spring. I fell in love with her that night... still am, ca. 45 years later.

R.I.P. thanks for the fun times and music!

I saw him within the last two years. Still could pack them in and gave a rousing show. R.I.P.

Sorry to hear of the loss...
Tom~ In search of accurate reproduction of music. Real sound is my reference and while perfection may not be attainable? If I chase it, I might just catch excellence. ~
