https://youtu.be/DLc3DuSJZQI?si=SS_sJY0RfHvdPTq4

If this has been posted here before, I never saw it, unless my age is catching up to me..

Can't say I don't want to hear it, but would rather here it in a better room, with better gear..

Just needs Rob's Phase Plugs..

Where does one start with all the things done wrong. What's even worse is he's actually proud of that mess.

    The Monoliths laugh with irreverence.

    Me too.
Looks like giving them some room could be beneficial.

They could also be set up with the main speakers on the bottom and the left-right "subwoofer" SDA cabinets swapped and inverted and sitting on top of them. That would be cool. Ceiling height could be an issue. >:)

If you're going to resto-mod a set of 1.2TLs, don't use Temu drivers.

  • I feel a little better about my LF12 mod…

But I think I’m happy for the guy.

Just like I found out: You don’t know how good something can sound until you hear it and learn from it.

He’ll get a bigger room and whatnot one day. For now, I bet it does sound amazing in that room compared to anything he or his friends have ever had =)

At least your LF-12 mod kept it classy using the vintage MW's. Think that is what most are ragging about here, my comment included.
Not 100% sure about what the make-shift subs do to the phasing of that whole setup either. Maybe it just works, who knows until you get your ears on them it is true.

Until someone rebuilds a set with all drivers in correct geometry, just lowered (like the 2.3TL's) and front crossover plate deleted/relocated, the Monoliths won't be beat. JMO
