XS Amp Case...Part 2

Have some time to start a 2nd amp case for my nearfield/desktop rig.
I'll be inserting an Aiyima A04 this time with integrated dial mechanism. It will only be 3.5" tall and same 7.5" diameter as Ill machine the TPA3251 board to insert sideways. I fly-cut the baseplate this time as well...

These amps don't even need fans, so only adding a center and 3 lateral air ports for convection flow...

Not sure I posted this pic. Still running this amp on my desktop setup. Starting to pre-game a Starkrimson module build with one of these cases, instead with heatsinks towards the top and SWPS/IEC at the bottom...

Thanks Steven, getting some screen time as I reply. I have the AM5 sub still running in parallel also. Doesn't have the all-out kick as the RM1000, but digs a little lower here. Looking forward to your next desktop project as well...

What’s the guts look like?
I machined it for the A04 case to drop right in without it's top cover (since these cheap factory black cases trap the heat) and thermal paste applied to the base plate for maximum heat dissipation. I also drilled the same diameter hole thru the factory bottom case where it interfaces the billet bottom plate for convection around the 3251 chip/PCB... It barely gets warm after hours of cranking the large dia. knob.

Love it- Not Tom ::::::: Any system can play Diana Krall. Only the best can play Limp Bizkit.
