Just won this on BAT 3 days ago.
The transport outfit is picking her up for delivery this Monday, 1999 Honda Acty SDX 4WD Pickup 5-Speed.
Very excited as it probably gets 1,000 mpg... okay, I exaggerated a tad.

If anyone's interested specs are here;

Congrats! Won't see another one of those in the neighborhood. I always thought I'd find it awkward manually shifting a right-hand-drive vehicle.

    Thanks bcwsrt,
I thought the same exact thing.

My brother bought one and told me to take it for a drive. I don't know about that shifting with my left hand. Brother said it'll take about 5 minutes, and he was right.
Only thing is the turn signals, I kept turning on the wipers whenever I made a turn.

Cool vehicle! I have been hearing the Kei truck imports are popular now in the US. Just passed the 25 year import restriction mark on this one. Low mileage on that one.

When I had a dam job I would see those. The USACE maintenance crews use those. They love them even though I think they were the Nissan versions.

Some states (like Georgia) are starting to outlaw JDM market cars by refusing to register them. It's BS if you ask me.

The shifting isn't that awkward, It's the same H pattern 1st is all the way to the left and up. It's the looking up and to the left to check the rear view mirror that gets me.

Congrats on the Kei truck purchase!

As for me I've purchased a bunch of Christmas presents and severe cold and flu medicine.

Been wanting to replace my wood front door for many, many years. I'm now close to doing it.

I have manhandled many door units over my lifetime, with no concern for their weight. Yesterday was another lesson on aging! I bought a fiberglass unit.

I thought the units were 75 lbs. max. They're 100 lbs.! :o:# I never lifted the door unit from the store to my truck. I always leaned it into or out of the rolling rack or into my truck. But at home, I wanted to put it in my house for safe keeping, being 300.00 +.

I went to lift it onto my right arm to carry it to my house, and that's when I knew I'm 68+ now and getting weaker. The door just about ripped my forearm from my elbow. I then had to step up 3 steps. :s That was almost a knee popper! But I made it... Today I was very sore in both shoulders and the right forearm. I'm ok tonight though. I rested almost all day. :D It's in the house and ready for some warmer days in the coming week/s. I hope I don't have bad scenarios replacing that old front door.

I know I have to make jamb extentions but that will be easy using my table saw. B)

All my purchases have been non audio related. If it's not for the kids, it's for the house or MTB bike parts.

I remember those years very well. My Teac cassette deck, Marantz receiver and Pioneer hpm100's sufficed much longer than they should've during my penny pinching years. Then the kids started moving out and the monster home repair projects slowed down to a trickle.
Hang in there; there is light at the end of tunnel. Nowadays I look back and find myself wondering how they went so quickly.

    That's some quality Bourbon's.

I'll be over Christmas night for when you break the seals.

California is like that, cannot be registered road legal there.

    Things about living in WY...
Pretty lenient as far as vehicle registrations, don't have DOT certs/inspections on cars and no emissions testing to register your vehicles. Has close to as many Pronghorn Sheep as humans... 6 people per square mile.
WY does allow KEI vehicles to be registered to travel State HWYs, and the rest, but not on the Interstates
Western WY just clocked wind speed last week @ 144mph (Non-Tornado), in a storm that blew thru. Had trains blown over off their track and the Interstate was closed from Semi's being blown over.
And best of all, "Wyoming blows because Nebraska sucks".
