I remember our first trip to LA, it was Feb and my wife and I were swimming in the outdoor pool of the hotel. We were the only ones there. I could hear them say..." Must be Canadians"

Almost moved to San Diego in the late 70's for the weather but primarily for the Racquetball scene.
Living in FL at the time their weather looked fabulous.
