I couldn't an info on this site about this device, maybe I didn't look hard enough. But has anyone tried this out? Or would it even work with sda speakers? I luv my crs's, but since I move to a smaller room, the magic has subsided some.

Hmmm, this is something from a company formerly known as Jolida. It's a sound enhancer in basic terms, that adds a tube buffer into it. Some folks may love it, and this may very weel be right up your alley, to gain some of that magic back. I do NOT agree with them saying that you can pretty much not worry about speaker placement though.

Tell us more about your current listening setup and maybe we can figure out where the magic went (and how to get it back), without having to spend anything. Photos and dimensions of the layout will be most helpful to us, in order for us to help you. The more information we have, the better we can help.

Also -- Schiit sells an "analog multichannel synthesizer/processor" thingy that's (probably) the Hafler "Dynaquad" trick plus a few added gizmos to justify (or at least rationalize) their asking price.

Something tells me those won't play well with SDA speakers.

I didn't update this thread, not that it's a big deal. I found a used "sound enhancer" and nabbed it. Contacted the company about using them with SDA's, they got back a few days later after they looked into and said they did not recommend it.
Now, like most, I have a few sets of speakers, so I hooked it up to my first set, and bam, what a frickn blast this thing is. The problem, you spend more time in the beginning messing with it, then actually listening to music. But after a few days, it's pretty apparent that the sound expanding knob stays in pretty much one position, give or take. I'm basing this on what I have read about the device and how it somewhat works with the room you have. The bass knob is great, that's used the most. What sucks is that there isn't a bypass mode, so one has to unplug rca cables, blah blah.....
Soooooo, us SDA folks, ok I'm generalizing here so don't shoot me, love this sound, so if you want to experiment with other speakers, give this a shot as it's addicting, so much so that I then bought a BSG Technologies qøl Signal Completion Stage. But I'm getting off track.

The BSG Technologies qøl Signal Completion Stage will work fine on other speakers, but I would not recommend it with any SDA speaker. It won't fry anything, but the signal won't be completed, it will be discombobulated. The two technologies were not meant to be combined. FYI.

    Congrat's on the QOL.

I only use the qøl and the sound enhancing device on my other speakers. The sda's are hooked up to a certain amp and tube pre. That never changes, granted I have switched amps and pre's, but the synergy is fantastic with that one setup. The other devices/speakers are just for fun, per-say. My friends get a kick out the sound enhancer because you can fool with it on the fly. The qøl, sounds the best out of the two, plus I like that I can turn it off. The problem, for me, is that I'm addicted to the sound these devices put out as most other speakers without, well, sounds kind of boring to me. Granted, I don't have the budget to buy super expensive gear. I also have a few sets of inexpensive omni speakers. Those with these devices turned on are a trip with certain songs. I'll put on some music and it's funny to watch my friends actually turn their head like they are looking for where the sound is coming from. Most think, with certain songs, that I have surround sound speakers hidden.
