Polk R700 with R200 surrounds

My last question before buying my speakers.

If I get the R700s with 4 R200s as sides and backs, what height stands are best to make sure the R200 tweeters are aligned with the R700 floor standing speakers? 24 in? 28 in?

Neither...the back & surrounds idealy should be well above ear level. Approximately 6' up the wall is ideal. If that's not feasible then I think either height stand (more so the 28") would do the trick. Good luck with your setup! Those speakers are amazing & will sound phenomenal. If possible don't forget to use a matching R series center. Having the front soundstage (LCR) match will give you the best results.

If it's for an Atmos system with height speakers the main and surround layer speakers should all be at roughly the same tweeter height. The R700 is about 45 inches in height and the R200 is about 14 inches with a similar driver layout. Subtract and you'd get a speaker stand of around 31 inches to have a similar tweeter height. I'd go with a 32 inch stand but things don't have to be exact. Pangea makes one in that size that can be sand or shot filled in the columns for stability.
