This is THE ONE that I really want to sound fantastic. Thus far, the MOFI Van Halen releases haven’t lived up to the hype, IMHO. Fair Warning is the panicle of Van Halen’s run - peak creativity, still had the “harder” sound, and still fighting their way up. Fingers crossed.“Human beings are born with different capacities. This is the one I have been waiting for as well, I like the MOFI versions thus far, with that said, Michael Jacksons Thriller, and especially Off The Wall, blow them away. -
Van Halen, just like Zeppelin, is great music, but they weren't concerned about SQ during the recording. I'm sure it will be the best version you've heard, but temper expectations.

I listened to my Remaster (HDCD) version about a week ago. It actually sounded better than I remembered. I'm sure this is better. You're in for a treat!

So, you were given fair warning that your package was one foot out the door. If you pass some time Sunday afternoon in the park, Monday will be here before you know it. I'm sure we will hear about it later when it arrives. Make sure Chester isn't unchained when the mailman gets there. If it is late and push comes to shove, you can always spin the vinyl in the mean (streets) time. Well, that's enough typing for me. I am going to go watch the two dirty movies that I ordered: "Sinner's Swing" and "So This Is Love?" -

I'm sure you remember in the past the preorder in most cases was cheaper. I didn't want to gamble that the cost would go up $15 verses the preorder price, that would be a healthy chunk of change when buying all of them. The good thing is that Music Direct doesn't charge until they ship. They have not charged me a shipping cost yet only shipping one disc at a time. -
Dweezil doesn't get the guitar credit he deserves. The man rocks and is a mountain of information.
I thought this was pretty good musically, I'm torn on the singer. -

I didn't know till Thursday. They delivered my Heart SACD on Tuesday, I had no idea that was coming. Not sure why they just didn't ship these all together..
