Auralic is gone...

Auralic has closed their doors, as of the middle of September. I don't believe this was posted before...

auralic had a majorly flawed approach, their closed ecosystem... the "apple" of streaming is/was terrible.

    I did not know this.

I have the Aries Mini for my streamer and it sounds fantastic...punches WAY above it's price point. Haven't had time to use it since September so curious how it will work without updates...guess I'll find out.

Well this might put a spin on my Xmas shopping list this year..:).

It was a combination hit. The tarrifs closed the American marketplace, then the lead designer left the company and they had no "move forward" plan in place.

According to sources, they stopped shipping to the USA two months before the tariffs started. They also stopped shipping to other countries. So, their closure cannot be tied to tariffs.

Ah, did not realize this. Thanks for pointing that out. The tariffs being part of the cause was the scuttlebutt on other forums.

I do know this. About a month or so ago, I could not find their forum. Then it reappeared for about a week, and now it's gone again. Presumably for good this time. That really bites for those that could use some advice on the Auralic devices.

I love Lumin 98% . . . 1 thing strokes about it …. It might be operator lack of knowledge.

I find saving song lists and reloading new or previous song lists is cumbersome at best.
