Mcintosh C2300 Tube Preamplifier

Incredible Mcintosh C2300. This is the last ALL-TUBE single chassis pre that they made before opting to include digital capability in newer products. Very well regarded and considered a future classic. This preamp is in near flawless condition inside and out. The only flaw I can find is on the top cover trim ring around the tube window.
The ONLY reason for the sale is I never thought I would ever find myself in a position to be able to acquire a McIntosh preamp brand new in the box given the price tag for a piece like the C2800 is prohibitively expensive on my budget. I have been quite pleased with the tube analog C2300 that have I have been using for nearly 2 years. It has been an outstanding performer and I had no intention or desire to be replacing anything at this time. Then Magnolia loses the product line and the opportunity to step up became something to really think about. It has been a six month long odyssey to get to the point where we are now, and that is a shiny new C2800 in my Audio room.
