Rick passed at the age of 81.
I quite like the Logical Song, but many more. Thank you for your gift

    Yeah, this was sad news.
On the other hand, 81's a pretty darned ripe old age for a rock 'n' roller -- so... bittersweet.

I quite like Bloody Well Right.
That said, like every other English-speaking human being of (roughly) my age, I do own a copy of Breakfast in America. Possibly several.
It took me a while before I realized the NYC skyline on the cover was dishware (and other diner/breakfast-centric ephemera) :# It was the '70s, though, and the keenness of my observational powers may have been a bit... blunted. B)

Rick Davies, who wrote and sang songs including “Goodbye Stranger” and “Bloody Well Right,” died on Saturday of blood cancer multiple myeloma, the band said. He had been fighting it since 2015

Growing up we had a neighbor named Steve around the corner that was BIG into Supertramp. Anytime my dad and I went anywhere with him, he had a Supertramp cassette playing. I became a fan because of those experiences. Thanks, Steve!
