Up for sale is my McCormack DNA 500 power amp. I had this posted briefly elsewhere a while back but had a change of heart so decided to hold onto it. Unfortunately, my other amp just had an expensive repair bill so I need to recoup a little cash, so here we are.
This amp sounds excellent with seemingly never ending power. Boasting 500 wpc at 8 ohms and almost double that to 4 ohms. It lives up to the name given by one reviewer, “iron fist in a velvet glove.” Overall the amp looks great other than the printing on the back of it that has faded over the years, as shown in the pictures. Operationally it is excellent as it was recapped a few years back by the previous owner who was a technician at Conrad Johnson where these amps were originally built. Very hard to beat this amp at this price range.
Looking to get what I have into back, so asking $3250 cash or PayPal friends and family. Located in Elkton, MD area. Would love a local buyer to avoid shipment but will ship if need be as I have all of the original packaging. Also comes with a Silnote Audio GS 20 amp power cord.

Price drop to $3100. Possibly willing to do partial trades for a tube pre or a nice DAC, depending on what they are.
For you folks looking for an upgrade, this amp is a beast that will power anything and sound excellent doing it! -
