Bi-WIring Polk L800s for SDA
Recently, I purchased the Polk L800s. After exploring various forums about optimizing performance for the SDA, I learned I needed a single-ended, non-differential amplifier. As a result, I bought the Marantz PM-KI Ruby, which fits my budget and provides enough power for my listening needs. However, I purchased the Parasound A21+ based on a friend's recommendation before I bought the Marantz PM-KI Ruby. As it turns out, the Parasound A21+ is not a single-ended, non-differential amplifier. My goal is/was optimal performance for SDA within my budget. So my question is this: Should I use the Marantz PM-KI Ruby and the A21+ for bi-wiring? Will the SDA still function properly if I use the Marantz PM-KI Ruby for the highs and mids, while using the Parasound A21+ for the woofers? I considered using the A21+ for the woofers because it has a damping factor around 1000, which suggests I could achieve tighter and more controlled bass, even at lower volume levels. I'm also aware that the two different amps could cause different sound environments, but would that even matter for the woofer/base frequencies? I'm new to the world of high-fidelity audio. Any advice would be appreciated. The Marantz PM-KI Ruby is expected to arrive in a few days, so I will conduct a test to determine if there is a noticeable difference. I wanted to know if anyone has information on this topic now.

You are asking about bi-amping, not bi-wiring. Regardless, the answer is no.
BTW, the Ruby (excellent) is an integrated amp while the A21+ is a power amp only. Sell the A21+.Political Correctness'.........defined

I don't believe the parasound A21+ amplifier is fully balanced from input to output, it has a single ended output stage.

Agree, you can have XLR or balanced which ever way you want to refer to them, inputs and outputs and not be dual differential. -
I forgot to address this.I considered using the A21+ for the woofers because it has a damping factor around 1000, which suggests I could achieve tighter and more controlled bass, even at lower volume levels.
The difference between a damping factor of 50 and 1000 is so tiny that it is laughable. In addition, to obtain a high damping factor generally requires a large amount of negative feedback, which may or may not be a bad thing.Political Correctness'.........defined

Just use the Ruby integrated on it's own, it will be more than enough.
