CRS+’s at the Rancho de No Concerno

So, I was perusing ebay a few days ago and honed in on a pair of gorgeous CRS’s…..upon further inspection, I’m like “I KNOW these speakers” ….and sure enough, they are one of Raife’s CRS+’s

Y’all.

Now, I followed DK’s threads and, I gotta tell you, these things are WAY sexier in person.

I’m excited to get them set up….I need to procure some cables….all I seem to have are biwire cables (if anyone has a pair of 10’ or so single wire cables….I have a pair of 10’ MIT Terminator 2’s biwires)…..

But, I’m also on the hunt for a decent pair of stands. I have a set of nice Wharfdale Linton stands that are 18” and the are just too short….

Anyway….just thought I’d share my excitement!!

    Great grab Troy! I am going to be selling my modded 1C's one of these days. I thought if I could find a good pair of CRS+ to keep for when I need my SDA fix, that's what I'd look for. They would be much easier to haul in an out of the rig.

    well, there are two more pair of DK’s CRS’s on ebay…..if I was still hoarding, I’d have all three pairs….

    Okay, I actually did see those earlier this week. The dreadnought really caught my eye. I never did the math that they were Raife's
    I guess he really is not as dedicated to audio as he was.

    I was questioning this in the SDA thread a while ago, wondering if these were Ray’s, but dismissed it..

    If Ray is okay, why wouldn’t he post them here first? That doesn’t seem like him.

    Noice! The black pair has the aluminum tweeter plates……if I remember correctly, they all had pretty much the same mods….
