It took a bit but, as of the 16th, I closed and became a homeowner. So, there's that....this new gal I'm supposed to be breaking in??? I think it might be the other way around.... been putting in the time, she laughs at me because I swear, we've been together for at least 3 months....uh, it's only been a month and almost two weeks.....but man, we see each other at least three times a week and it just keeps getting better.
I don't know if I mentioned this the first time I brought her up but she's 11 years younger....a bit out of my date range, Ayesha is 49, 16 years younger.
We really hit it off from the get-go and she admitted to me by saying she almost passed me by since I was out her date range, I laughed and said yep, same here...she looked surprised and said, What?? I'm an old lady to you? I laughed again and said, well, you're oldER! And that being said, it's been a perfect fit. As time flies, we'll see how it all ends up.

It sounds like you two can laugh at things.
That's half of a relationship.
Have fun.
Congrats on purchasing a new house. May the two of you make it a home someday. Most people just listen to music and watch movies. I EXPERIENCE them.

By the way fellas, I realize it's not common practice to post personal pics as I have and understanding that so many of us are "cyber" friends, actual friendships do materialize from the common "thread" that we share, it has been my honor to be able to share a little of my personal life with y'all.
So again, I thank all that have supported me through this and have given me encouragement as well as the kind words.
I can remember back in 2010 when I joined, living up in WA and telling @txcoastal1 that I was a misplaced Texan just waiting to get back home. And now, after a rough journey and 15 years later......I finally made it.
