Gotta give it to Metallica, I have seen them more than a hand full of times since 86, last time we saw them was in 07, and these guys still bring it, great show, it was a little hot for awhile till the sun went down.
Fred Durst, and Limp Bizkit was great as well. Ice Nine Kills was okay, I didn't hate it, just not my style of rock/metal. a lot of people there was digging them though..
We go to night two tomorrow night, with Suicidal Tendencies, and Pantera. Super glad we get the day break between shows.. -
Night #2 last show of the tour as well..

Night two was absolutely 💯 punch you in the mouth attitude, Suicidal Tendencies, Pantera, and Metallica hitting the stage with their heaviest classic songs, was a lot of in your face energy.
Definitely one of the heaviest shows I have seen in many years, but to say I’m getting too old for some of this, is an understatement.🤣
Lars gets a lot of hate when it comes to being a drummer, but that guy at his age has to be physically fit, to play that long and hard as he does, the guy literally had sweat running down him the whole show.
Glad we went, but I highly doubt I would do it again, and put myself through it all. Getting older sucks at times, but better than the alternative..😀 -
Okay, my last post on my lonely Metallica thread!! 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Digging the posters from the shows.
Only 900 of each at the shows..

You're in a lucky spot for great concerts. I've got to travel 3-4 hours one way to enjoy a good concert. Those that do visit locally are are usually in the don't give a Flyin F, lets just get this one over mentality.
It sucks to pay good money to see a lack luster performance. -
Glad you enjoyed the concerts. We plan on going to a couple of concerts this summer as well. I hear ya on the age thingRandy-Maine

Metallica played a pair of shows over the weekend in Denver and artist Juan Ma Orozco created the official posters for the event.
Sounds like he will be doing some AP prints down the line..
