Shipping ripoff for apogee duetta 2 speakers bass foils.
I have apogee duetta 2 speakers and they are in need of new bass foils. I ordered them from Clarisys audio, and when I put them in the cart they were over $500 more than I expected due to shipping cost. I emailed the company who responded back very quickly and said it's because they are long, and US customs is hard to deal with.
They are less than 30" and are rolled up in a small tube. They don't weigh much because they are just aluminum foil, I don't get it. There was nothing said about any tariffs.

UPS charges a handling fee when things cross the border, but not that damn much and a 30" long tube is nothing to them.Political Correctness'.........defined

Yes I have read that thread, but I'm sure they are ripping customers off with that high priced shipping. I would think better of them if they just charged more for the product in the first place.
