8' non-biwire MIT Shotgun S3 speaker cable pr. w/original packing

I've run these for years and loved them. I will always run MIT's in my rig. I stepped up to the S1 bi-wires awhile ago for the L600's, so I no longer have a need for these.
They need to go to a good home. Excellent condition rated an 8. Banana's on all ends, but I think I can accommodate spades on one end. I'll have to check my Iconn stash.
I thought I had pics on my phone, but I don't. I'll post pics when I get home tonight.
Prices have been all over the place for these. Considering the condition and original box, etc.
$400 plus shipping. PP friends and family or check if I know you. Let me know if my pricing is off. I paid $650 for the S1 bi-wires in like condition w/box.

Sheathing is in excellent shape. These were basically set it and forget it. Once in the rig they were never moved......until now.

I was waiting for that...too funny!
Well first off I wasn't comfortable with the boxes hanging off the back of the speakers even though I had them somewhat supported. I picked up some 20" black zip ties & mounted them directly to the back of speaker stands. Turned out really nice if I must say so myself. I'm snap a few pics when I get a minute.
Now to my initial sound impressions. Not knowing what to expect I anxiously awaited my first listening experience.
Well "Good Golly Miss Molly" !! I was floored at what I was missing all this time. The total landscape took on a whole new dimension to say the least.
Right off the bat the bass was so much more impactful & dynamic.
The soundstage (which I was quite happy with) actually took on a new life of it's own in height & width.
Minute details suddenly appeared out of nowhere to my surprise.
Voices were more front & center with clarity & precision.
I'm picking up some nuances that I know weren't there before to this degree because I played artists/songs that I was quiet familiar with.
To say I'm impressed with my initial listening foray would be a understatement!
Money well spent!! Now maybe a new preamp might be in the picture.

Phil, it was the same for me 20 or so years ago. Not sure what Voodoo is in those black boxes, but it works. It's not a trick or artificial. What ever attenuation the network boxes perform on the signal I believe it keeps the original signal integrity and many other cables are distorting the signal integrity.
Almost every cable I've listened to has it's won signature, but MIT is quite a bit more of everything.
Hearing/ experimenting with your own gear in your own listening space is the only way to know.

Yeah I think you're right Brock. I always thought the internal workings of the black boxes would somehow alter - possibly degrade the signal. From what I'm hearing it the exact opposite. Everything is enhanced in ways that had me scratching my head. Everything is simple better sounding.
Here's a few pics of the boxes attached to the speaker stands. Nothing at all is visible from the front in my room.

I bought those cable risers from Signal Cable a good 10yrs ago & I don't think he's had them since & they were dirt cheap to boot. I've looked at others since then but some of the prices were simply crazy. Never bought any more since then.
I have my doubts about the claims of them making a sonic difference. I use them strictly for asthetic purposes. They dress up the room for sure.
I always liked things nice & neat looking. They serve the purpose nicely. Definitely look into getting some if you can find them on the cheap
