J.D. Sumner is(was) a famous bass vocalist from the days of Elvis, being a stalwart in the Stamps Quartet, and a few other vocal groups. He passed away in 1998, but his legend still lives on. IYKYK

Well today, I discovered a guy named Geoff Castellucci, who is a modern bass vocalist, and boy, he can dig DEEP.

The recommendation that led me to Castellucci is his version of 'Big Bad John'. Before playing this, make sure that your sub-woofer is warmed-up B) I'm an instant fan.

Holy cow, also check out 'The Sound of Silence'. He goes low, but the bass guitar goes even lower, so a real 'bass fest' :o
