    Hello,
Welcome to the Polk forum. One important things to do is a complete resetting of the soundbar and the subwoofer. To do this would leave the soundbar and subwoofer turned on and then unplug the power cords. Leave them unplugged for at least 15 minutes, then reconnect both cords. You might need to repeat this process four or five times to take effect.

It sounds like your Polk DSB1 soundbar is having trouble staying connected to the subwoofer or the main power. The blinking lights typically indicate a connection or power issue. Here are some troubleshooting steps you can try:
    1. Power Cycle Everything

Unplug the soundbar from power for at least 10 minutes.

Unplug the subwoofer (if applicable) for the same duration.

Plug everything back in and turn them on again.

    2. Check for a Loose Connection

Ensure that the power cable is firmly connected to the soundbar and outlet.

If using an optical cable, make sure it's fully inserted into the soundbar and TV.

    3. Try Resetting the Soundbar

Since your remote isn’t working, try these manual reset methods:

Press and hold the power button on the soundbar for about 10–15 seconds (if available).

If that doesn’t work, check the Polk manual for a specific reset sequence.

    4. Test with Another Power Outlet

Plug the soundbar into a different outlet to rule out a power issue.

    5. Try Re-pairing (If It Has a Wireless Subwoofer)

If your subwoofer was previously connected, it may need to be manually re-paired.

Look for a pairing button on both the soundbar and subwoofer and press them as instructed in the manual.

    6. Inspect for Physical Damage

Check if there’s any burnt smell or visible damage to the power adapter or circuit board.

If the lights continue to blink and turn off, it may indicate a hardware failure, and replacement might be necessary. Let me know if you need help choosing a new system!
