Dsb1 Bluetooth operation

Options
I have a Polk dsb1 soundbar sold by Dish. The remote no longer works. I just discovered it will work on Bluetooth. I paired it to my iPhone but now what? Do I need an app to control volume. Also, can the remote be replaced?

Since your Polk DSB1 soundbar remote is not working, here’s what you can do:
    1. Controlling the Soundbar via Bluetooth

Your iPhone can send audio to the soundbar, but it does not control the volume directly.

You will need to use the volume buttons on your iPhone to adjust the Bluetooth audio level. However, this may not always adjust the master volume of the soundbar itself.

Unfortunately, there is no official Polk app to control the DSB1 soundbar.

    2. Replacing the Remote

You can try ordering a replacement remote:

    Check Polk Audio’s official website.

Look for a third-party universal remote compatible with Polk soundbars.

Some Dish remotes might be able to control the soundbar if programmed correctly.

    3. Alternative Control Options

If your TV remote was programmed to control the soundbar via HDMI ARC or Optical, it might still work.

Some universal remotes (like Logitech Harmony) can be programmed for Polk devices.

Would you like help finding a specific replacement remote? Let me know!
