Up for sale is my Joule Electra LA150 MKii preamp. I didn’t think I’d ever let this go but it’s time to try some other gear for a while so here we are. This is a really excellent pre that has just the right amount of tube bloom with plenty of grunt and drive to satisfy all musical preferences. For those of you looking to step up your preamp game, this may be perfect for you.
It’s in very nice shape functionally and cosmetically and includes the oem box/packaging material. This pre was manufactured in 2012 which makes it one of the last units produced before Joule Electra stopped production.The only “issue” at all is the battery cover on the remote is missing the tab that clicks it in place. You can use a piece of Velcro or rubber band to keep it in place if it bothers you. Before I purchased this preamp, it was owned and gone through by Signature sound out of NY who is probably currently the best when it comes to Joule Electra stuff since Juds passing. Price drop to $1700 before posting this elsewhere. Can’t go lower than this. It was a $6k pre when new.
