2 psw505 with bad amps

Are these now trash? They were a gift so I don't have records of purchase.

    There are much better subs available, I sure wouldn't spend any amount of money to fix it.

    If money is tight for a new sub. You might find suitable replacement plate amps online. Like partsexpress.com. I've done that before with a Tannoy sub a few years ago.
