    It's funny you mention this, Trey. I would wondered how it could be possible if I hadn't had a similar experience.

    Talking to Tom one day, he sent me a clip of his system. I listened to it on the main space desk setup, which is Audioengine HD3s and a ML sub. I have three source paths, but this instance was from the MBP. I got height imaging. I couldn't believe it at first and thought I had to be imagining it. Repeatable.
    I disabled signatures.

    The cleaner and lower noise a system is, the better a video from a flagship phone will sound. If you have a high quality phone and your recording doesn't sound good, I would argue it is picking stuff up you are not aware of yet. Just my experience
