Center Channel for PolkAudio A1

Hi everybody, I have the PolkAudio A1 speakers (https://www.polkaudio.com/en-us/product/archive/archive-built-in-speakers/rti-a1/112490.html) with Yamaha A-S201 amplifier (https://it.yamaha.com/it/products/audio_visual/hifi_components/a-s201/index.html).
Every time I listen to movies I have difficulties in hearing the voices; the music of the movie it is usually fine but the voices are generally too low.
I have been looking in PolkAudio website and I've seen the central channel speakers.
Do you know which one could I choose based on my current setup?

Welcome to Polk's forum. I'm assuming you have the RTi A1 speakers, correct? I'll check with a Polk product specialist for a center channel recommendation. -
He recommends the ES30 as the correct center channel speaker.

Hi @SeleniumFalcon , yes I have RTi A1. Is it this one https://it.polkaudio.com/shop/polkaudio-centerchannelspeakers/es30_eu the one suggested?
How does it connect to the stereo amplifier? It is not clear to me how the wiring works, I only have two channels: left and right.
Currently the A1 speakers are already wired in biwiring setup

You need an AVR in order to use a center channel.
The sound tracks of movies are made with dedicated channels and the center channel is where the vocals are located.
To fully appreciate the sound of a movie you need a minimum of 5 speakers and a sub. So, left and right front speakers, a center, left and right rear speakers and a subwoofer. The AVR will power the speakers and the sub has it's own amplifier.Political Correctness'.........defined

Hi @F1nut I don't need to setup the best in class home theater. The stereo setup is just enough and I'd like to make a slight enhancement with a center channel but I was wondering how it would setup with a stereo ampli

With a 2 channel amp you do not have the ability to use a center and/with the two you're currently using. It will not sound any different since you will not have the ability to send center channel dialog to the dedicated center.

You will at a minimum need an AVR to use a center channel, even if you don't use the other channels..
Also just having a basic AVR with the ability to use all the speakers is not going to be "best in class home theater" you're thinking about this all wrong.. -
