Polk Signa S2 remote not working consistently

The remote for my new Signa S2 is not reliable. I often have to press buttons many times before they register with the soundbar.
- The battery is new.
- No obstruction between me and the soundbar.
Is it possible to fix this or get a replacement? Thanks.
