Rather pricey and didn’t notice any new features.

Changes the DAC but still no native DSD support. I wouldn't automatically say the ESS Sabre DAC is an upgrade just by itself. Looks like basically an extra $150 above the standard version for including a headphone amp and a different color finish. The headphone amp seems the only reason to buy this version over the regular version in my view. The extra cost might be persuasive to headphone users looking for a simple system and the silver does look cool.
