So, this seems to be the talk of the hifi forums... but a search here just turned up nothing.
Gonna change that.
I just saw this link (at ASR, of all places) and, having read it (all seven pages of it) and thought it worth sharing.

    Well they need to do something to it. The first album I bought new after getting back into vinyl was this one and I was thoroughly disappointed in the pressing compared to my vintage early pressing.
