Movie is a little cheese, but I enjoyed

But the audio is down right amazing. Easy reference material... Totally check it out for the sound quality

I actually enjoyed the idea of the movie but... Definite cheese fest

The audio though.. The infinite baffle subs were digging brother. Tons and tons of subsonic with great authority

I went into this flick with just looking to be entertained...and I was. But, it was not hard to poke holes in it.

A classic Roland Emmerich flick. He knows his popcorn audience and rakes in the money year after year. Hard for me to believe his movie Independence Day came out 26 years ago! That one brought almost a billion dollars in ticket sales.

My guess is Halle Berry and Patrick Wilson are working for cheap these days.

    :)

I read that it cost 150 mil and only made 20 mil at the box office…if that’s knowing your audience then I am in the wrong business 😂 . It also looks so stupid that I would likely turn it off…but glad y’all enjoyed it!

Bah... no way the streaming comes close to the sound quality on the disc.

I stream 99% and the sound quality is just no where close to DVD, much less Blu Ray

The 4K Blue Ray arrived today (Friday). However, since Friday is a beer and music night I'll try to watch it tomorrow or next week.

Just finished watching this on HBOMAX. It was a good horribly cheesy film movie, but I came here just to post about the audio. I only have a single HSU VTF-15, but when that first moon meteor burns in and hits the mountain peak? that low, penetrating bass rattles your core! I must have played that scene 6 times, the last time pulling the grill off my sub to watch it work. So cool
    I disabled signatures.

Yes! The movie is worth the bass alone. When the moon scrapes against the earth... Holy moly!
