Speaker cable routing and dress out

Due to the fact that my house is very small (about 850 square feet of living space) and most of the rooms are oddly shaped with beveled corners, fire place, and windows and doorways, the only room that I can get a decent 2ch system setup in is my bedroom. I'm looking for ideas on dressing out the speaker cables so they aren't just laying on the floor and collecting dust bunnies. Molding? Wire duct? What did you use?
I'm not looking to cut into the walls to pull wires, because the walls are plaster with a texture and that would be impossible to match or blend.

I was thinking about running along the ceiling to avoid the electric baseboard heaters, or chair rail height.

The house is two floors with a basement, but my bedroom is the upstairs floor and I don't want to disturb the ceiling on the first floor for the same reason as the walls upstairs. The house was built in 1732, so the exterior is solid stone. I use something like this in my HT for the surrounds. Works well as long as the cables aren’t too thick.

There are lots of different options. I used a more rectangular shaped on in the HT that should fit that wire no problem…

A little late to the party, but others have used a combination of different molding profiles to create a chase to run wiring. With a little creativity, you could likely concoct something which would look period correct for your house.

Yes, but the child is pale, pasty and anemic looking in the Before pic, but tan and healthier in the After pic.
