Preamp for Lsi15 advice

I'm picking up a pair of Lsi15's in a couple of weeks. I bought a NAD 2200 in very good condition for the amp. I'm thinking about having it professionally cleaned and upgraded. What would be a good preamp to use with them that was formally high end? I'd like to keep the price in the $200-$300 range. Right now I'm looking at an Outlaw Model 990. I may add a sub at some point and I'm being given a center channel speaker for free but I may not use it.

Outlaw Model 990 looks like a good choice for features (i.e. volume control and balanced connection). Would allow you to go bigger with amplification, if you were so inclined, and still have good channel separation.
The LSi15s will be able to give a lot more with more current.

Someone shared a Musical Fidelity A3.5 integrated found on OfferUp app. Selling for $300.00, I think.

I'd definitely consider that but I just had someone try to scam me with a similar ad. I'm VERY hesitant to use offer up at this point.
