Hope it does not get too bad for you. We've had it here too. Felt like crap for a few days but then slowly went away. As hard as it as to do, you did the right thing by staying home. Maybe if more people were that responsible this crap would take a hike.
Yep, my name really is Bob.

That is funny shite right there..

    Update..

Courtney and I still don’t have any symptoms, and the wife’s symptoms have been mild for the most part, other than body aches she has been pretty good, and seems to be already on the mend, I hope it stays on this path. I keep waiting for the really bad stuff to hit, but nothing horrible as of yet..

If you don’t have one already, get an oximeter so you can monitor bpm (heart rate) and oxygen levels.

Talk to your doctor about what the levels should be.

Well bad news, Court, and I tested positive today, I really had my hopes we were going to skate past it..

Courtney goes in for one of those infusions at 5:30 today!! ☹️ They are not taking any chances..

We both woke up this morning not feeling 100%

Oh man Larry, sorry to hear. Courtney is a true fighter and will kick this too! Hoping as this C crap goes on in time it continues to get less severe. Omicron is rampant in our neck of the woods. I know of many (friends, family, and co-workers) who have it or had it and all have been mild (cold-like) cases with quick recoveries. Wishing you all a FAST recovery.

I know this isn't much help, but "Vicks Sinex Severe Original Ultra Fine Mist" nose spray is my go to drug for a stopped up nose.

    Wishing the best for Courtney.

When you have the coughing spells, lay down on your stomach. This should help calm the coughing spells and get your breath back.

Please get an oximeter (have someone bring you one). Watching your oxygen levels is critical with COVID.

If it runs like it did here, there is a light at the end of the tunnel for you. Day 5 was our turnaround day.

Ditto. It took about a week, and our symptoms were not all that severe, similar to yours @Toolfan66.

Taste and smell came back in small samples, about 5 days for me, though there are things I still
have an odd taste with; butter, for example, tastes somewhat salty, but that's it. Unfortunately for my wife, not so lucky; it's been almost 4 months and she has only started to regain some it back. At the risk of being the broken record here - this thing affects people in extremely different ways.
    Keeping positive
    thoughts heading your way Larry.
So, are you willing to put forth a little effort or are you happy sitting in your skeptical poo pile?
