PSWi225 problem.

in Subwoofer Hookup & Bass Management
I have a Technics SA5250 and Polk PSWi225 woofer. There is no input for the PSWi225 on the Technics. Is it possible to run the wire from the PSWi225 RCA and cut off then other end and hard wire to the second speakers hook-up on the Technics?

    Options
    That would not be a good idea, the speaker level output, of the Technics, is too strong for the wireless device's input. It needs to be a line level (less than 1.0 volt) output. You would need to use a speaker level to line level adapter. Both Crutchfield and Amazon list these.
