Problems with tv remote

Remote is real sluggish and not anting to change from HDMI to live tv easily. Anyone run into this problem?

    I can relate...as a kid I was the the remote....and sometimes the antenna

    Me three. Outdoor antenna on a pole - Farmhouse in between two cities so to change stations, had to manually rotate the antenna. I was so happy when they put in a motorized control! Of course we still had to get up to change channel, adjust antenna and volume. I remember the adults saying they got 3.5 channels. Good times!
