Audioengine B1

My Marantz 6005 has become a bit finicky and I want to go back to something w an app and volume control for my iphone. The Marantz app is useless unless I am completely missing something. Any feedback on the B1 and / or one laying around you would like to sell? Thanks and Go Bears!

I landed on the B1 for the spare room upstairs, after returning the Auris BluMe twice due to issues (connectivity drops, forcing me to re-connnect, annoying). The B1 is pretty decent, in terms of connectivity no issues, and the latest AptX codec, sound quality is pretty good! I stream Tidal from my iPhone to it.

Really....how does that work out for you? Funny I tried the Auris awhile back and couldn't return it quick enough. Do you just use the Tidal app on your phone straight to the B1 then B1 to your DAC?

Yep for me the Auris was, well, didn’t work out.

I run Tidal off my iPhone to the B1, direct to the preamp. I suppose you could run it to a DAC, not sure if you could disable the built in DAC.
