    Polk RT1000P. 1 inch tri lam tweeter, 6.5 inch midwoofer, and 6.5 inch powered woofer. Amps tend to develop a buzz and go bad so watch out for that...

    Yep, I have the same speaker. Had them since the 90's. Have just had one go bad in the sub amp. Would someone give me an idea of cost to repair assuming amp is all that's wrong. I really like these speakers.

    I have some rt1000p that failed a few years ago.

    I took off the plate amp and found a bulging and leaking capacitor.

    I replaced all of them and it's still working great.

    If you're not comfortable diagnosing and repairing it yourself that I would highly suggest you contact your local repair shop like others have said.
