Troubleshooting Signa S3 w/ Wireless HDMI Transmitter & Receivet?

I need the soundbar and subwoofer to be on the opposite side of the room to a laptop+ projector, so I connected my PC to the HDMI In & a projector to the HDMI Out ports of a wireless HDMI transmitter I bought. My new Signa S3 soundbar is connected to the wireless HDMI receiver across the room & the subwoofer is sync’d via Bluetooth to the soundbar. Now the projector is playing the audio instead of the Signa S3, i.e. the transmitter is working, but either the receiver or Soundbar is not. Can anyone help me troubleshoot or explain why this wireless HDMI approach might not work with the Signa S3? Thank you. Judith
