Hi! I will like to know what is the recommended crossover frequency. I have it set it up at 80Hz. Should I go lower than 80Hz or higher than 80Hz ? Thanks in advance!

That’s the typical recommendation but play around and see what works best in your room. That sub is pretty small and the speakers and nearly fully range so I would try it at 50-60hz and see how that sounds. You might find with a lower crossover the lower mid-bass has more punch and the sub has a little more low bass output because not having to cover as wide a ground.

I will say it really matters what receiver you have. If it’s underpowered then a lower crossover might not work very well...

Thank you! I have it set up at 60hz now and works great!

You might get better performance doing away with the subwoofer. Those speakers have a -3db of 44Hz and a total response (-10db) of 34 Hz, while the subwoofer isn't any better with a -3db of 42 Hz and a total response (-10db) of 38 hz.

Since you have 2 TSI400 speakers, it will help balance any low bass frequency response issue you'll have with your room while having only one PSW111 will create standing waves and nulls here and there.

I'd use the TSI400's full range and use the subwoofer just for the LFE effects channel and for redirected bass from small center and surround channel speakers. I believe the Dolby low frequency effects channel goes up to 120Hz. This is not redirected bass, but the actual ".1" LFE channel.

Good luck in what ever you decide to do.
