Couple weeks ago I ditched the old nextel for a Boost Kyocera, that waterproof android phone. Don't do internet stuff that much but am enjoying all the apps available. Aside from what came with the phone, I've downloaded a language translater, barcode scanner, navigation, flashlight, a level, Shazam, voice recorder, and my Sonos app.

Kinda cool really, what favorites does everyone have on their androids ?

ES file explorer - lets me browse my network and stream movies music and pdf's from my network.

Tesla LED - flash light app that uses the camera flash and not the screen so VERY bright

Poweramp - music player (not free)

Unified remote - allows me to use my android device as a mouse/keyboard/remote for my computers

Onkyo remote - remote for my onkyo AVR

Samsung remote - remote for my tvs

I think those are the most common ones i use!

Not sure if its available on Android, but the Yamaha remote app is a godsend.

I just wish itunes had a little bit better management for lossless files (e.g. FLAC).

I'm big into Audiogalaxy: with my music server at home it will stream my own music to my phone over 3G. It even has a "genie" function which is like Pandora using your own library. Streaming all day at work I'm happy to have my unlimited data plan!
