I am not the biggest Stones fan, I only weigh a metric ton but it does sound interesting.

I'm not the biggest Stones fan either BUT they did have a lot of BIG hits over the years.

"Sister Morphine" by the Stones is a great song that nobody knows too well.

Most people just listen to music and watch movies. I EXPERIENCE them.

Count me as not a big Stones fan either, but I recently got this new 'Hot Rocks' vinyl pressing that was remastered from DSD, and it sounds quite good to me.

I compared it to an older pressing, but the older one sounds a bit flat compared to the new DSD version IMO.

'Hot Rocks' is a good one to have as a greatest hits record from their early years ('64-'71). Their hits from that period are the ones I like best, and they were actually recorded pretty well.

The first three greatest hits packages are really good. “Green Grass and High Tides” as well as Hot Rocks you me Timon above and also the one with the cover in the shape of a stop sign.

^^^ Re: the octagon cover: Through the Past Darkly.

That's a good one-stop shopping destination to dip one's toes* into the top echelon of Rolling Stones' output, I'd agree.

Don, the other one is actually "High Tide and Green Grass". Perhaps you were thinking about the song by The Outlaws B)
