    Very cool! I visited Pompeii in the 80's. Sent this article to my dad and he said we probably walked right over it.

    What a Awesome discovery and it looks to be in incredible condition, The great volcano of Pompeii has some positive effects after all.
    I would of never thought that the volcanic ashes would work to help preserve anything, especially not a soft metal like Bronze, there saying there is even wood panels that are completely intact on the chariot.
    I love the lion heads and the amount detail the Romans had in most of there incredible creations. Good thread post Bluefox Thanks.
