Im currently using a adcom 555 to run my 2bs but I have never been super happy with the sound. I have compared the adcom to a belles 350a and the adcom is definently the weak link in my system. Compared to the belles the adcom is muddy and hard to listen to over a extended period.
I would like to replace the adcom. Im looking to spend a grand but would be willing to do up to 1500. Used is fine but nothing so old it will need a recap when i get it. Do yall know of any good options?

Might as well go ahead and start looking for a Parasound. That seems to be the amp of choice for 2Bs right now. I'm still satisfied with my Adcom 555 but it's had some upgrades done to it. I don't compare it to anything else because that might lead to spending more money.

Was just about to mention the Parasound A23 listed in the Flea Market, but alas, it’s been sold. That’s a great one to keep an eye out for to very nicely drive the 2Bs. Well within your budget, too.

Used Rogue Audio Cronus Magnum. If you want to jump down the tube rabbit hole. Very well respected integrated tube amp. Probably more in the $1500 range, but you can ditch the pre amp that you would be using with the Adcom or other amps. Another thought is to go with a tube pre with the Adcom. I found that when I was using an Adcom 555, a tube pre brought it up another notch. I think there is a Dared SL 2000 in the for sale section. That was my dive into the tube rabbit hole when I had my Adcom. Just my 2 cents.

Aragon 4004mk2 would make them sing. They run about 600-800 on the used market. A very legit amp, they are very articulated in their sound signature.

You could easily find a used Parasound A21 in that price range .
