No way to confirm, but this is trending on social media:
Charley Pride died of COVID one month after performing at the CMAs, which were indoors and full of people not wearing masks. They gave him a Lifetime Achievement Award and promptly killed him.

They were held in Nashville. The governor of TN has not issued a state-wide mask mandate or limited gathering sizes.

At what age does a person have the ability to make their OWN decisions ??? good or bad?

He made his decision and he performed, why are you two now trying to find blame for someone's own choice?

Yep, no big deal. I just meant that maybe Ken can edit it for us, because of the editing limitations we have where we can't go back and edit the title of our own threads.

There's a lot of stuff trending on social media.

The person who authored the Tweet was actually present at the CMA awards, and is a performer living in Tennessee, so it’s not just hearsay.

It’s still sad to think that he was able to perform on stage a month ago, and now he’s dead, so yeah...

@Kex... If I am not mistaken, you started this thread in memoriam of one of the legends of country music. His music and his legacy deserve better than turning this thread into yet another Covid pissing contest.

Oh, Listen here mister. We got no way of understandin' this world. But we got as much sense of this bird flyin in the sky. Now there is a lot that bird don't know, but it don't change the fact that the world is happening to him all the same. What I am tryin to say is, is that the course of your life, well its changing, and you don't even see it- Forest Bondurant
