Polk Original Binding Posts

I've got four pairs (four black, four red) of original binding posts used by Polk on vintage speakers; they come from my 1.2 TL's. They are up for grabs to anyone that needs them, on a first come first serve basis. Post here so that everyone knows how many are left.

The intention of this is to give polkies the opportunity to replace broken/missing nuts or binding posts; this is NOT for someone to get them as spares....Initially, one per person goes with no questions asked; two, you need to have a very good story and convince me (I'll be the judge). More than 2 per person not allowed. If there is no demand for these, conditions will change (i.e. anyone can take all of whatever is left if by tomorrow morning there are still available).

If no one actually needs them for a stock replacement, I could use two for a speaker build that I have been acquiring parts for. Basically doing a center speaker to better match my 1.2's......65XX series drivers w/ RD silk tweets.

Scott.. If you are building a new speaker, why not start with a "better" binding post? You can get really good ones for 5 bucks or so at Partsexpress.com

If you still want to use these, I'll send a pair for you.

Very True, I was going to go with Cardas, or the Dayton posts I got from parts express, but would like to have all original polk parts. I really don't think that the posts are the bottleneck of a good design, or build. (of course I could be wrong)

I could use one for my 2.3's which had one completely busted in half when I bought them. I'm not desperate since I was able to replace it with one of the radio shack mega cables but it doesn't match.

It's possible I might need one... When I bought my Monitor 7's the guy had snapped one off and replaced it with one but it's not quite original. I'll have to check whether it was a black or red one. I have a feeling it's a red one but not certain.

If someone else needs it before I let ya know don't bother holding dibs for me.

I totally forgot about this... Thanks for the offer but I'll pass. It is a red one that is broken but it's a closer match than I had remembered it to be so an absolute original isn't really necessary.

Thanks Ricardo, no worries I thought I would ask since I wanted to keep them all original. Hi F1nut, I really want to keep them original, but if I can’t find a replacement I’ll definitely check out part express.
